Dec 02, Christy rated it really liked it. It is interesting to see that much of what was going on even 10 years ago when this book was written is still hot trigger topics today.

It is spot-on in the issues it addresses, and he wrote it in the early 90s, which only makes it all the lrofeta. We both enjoyed it and could not put it down, but we both felt that Peretti falters at a few places.
It is also a novel about abortion. Honestly, I liked it. Stibbe rated it it was amazing. It was not a Christian book pushing a Christian agenda. Psretti was an interesting read.
If you liked Peretti’s other works, such as The Oath or the Present Darkness series, the trend in reviews seems to indicate that you won’t enjoy this as much. It was nonfiction aimed at a general audience. He’s and excellent writer.
Then I’ve watched it or read about it later only to see how the media spun prlfeta into their own tool. If you perett reading about grand, melodramatic battles between good and evil, this story isn’t going to sate you. But it’s a necessary addition to Christian fiction. In spite of sudden fame and notoriety, Frank still lives a simple, well-rounded life that includes carpentry, banjo making, sculpturing, bicycling and hiking.

Through him readers get a behind-the-scenes look–though it is an extremely outdated behind-the-scenes look–at a newsroom in action. Dec 01, Dorinda rated it it was amazing. All of these events pale in comparison to the mysterious voices that John is hearing.
